I’m an Orthodox Christian, wife, and mother of four children. I homeschool and I work part-time, mostly as a designer. That’s plenty for me, but some other things that interest me are writing, watercolor, and the art of homemaking (amateur that I am). I experiment with and am always keen to learn more about the role of intermittent fasting in our health, and exploring food as medicine. My husband and I dabble in some homesteading-adjacent activities to whatever extent they can be practiced on a half acre; specifically, chaos gardening and keeping chickens.
The idea for a blog like this has been banging around in my head for some time, at least a few years, and in the summer of 2026, I finally decided to pull the trigger and make it. Topics and themes are mostly TBD, though I expect they will encompass some combination of the above. I’m interested in writing about human experiences (specfically, well, mine) and I am not interested in “creating content” at a particular pace or with an audience in mind. Relatedly, I am not interested in being didactic. I wrote a bit about this in my first post. (These are also the reasons this blog exists here, on an unknown corner of the internet, rather than on a social platform where audience-building is algorithmically innate.)
For now, this is just a bit of an experimental outlet.
Glory to God for all things! ☦
